Upon first meeting, Dr. Adeyemi Johnson, a simple and humble, but yet, extremely assertive man, I must admit that I was slightly intimidated. It was fantastic to be amidst one with such passion and zeal for medicine and Nigerian Healthcare. Though, after speaking with him for a few minutes, I was able to observe his humorous, and more playful side. Weirdly, this character transcended into me and inspired me to want more, to want to be better for myself, for my family for my country. Hence, Dr. Johnson is an individual with a character of a leader, character of a winner, character of a friend. He is simultaneously cold as ice and hot as fire. His character is very contagious, one that is needed to instill change within ourselves and our country. Dr. Yemi Johnson is the action that speaks louder than words.
